I own a three year old Doberman and she's a very sweet dog. It gets really annoying that people say Dobermans, Rotts, or Pit Bulls are dangerous dogs because ANY dog is potentially dangerous. My dog is very friendly and she loves my 10 year old little cousin. She is a family dog, not a guard dog.

I always had hunting dogs until 10 years ago when my English Springer Spanial had to be put to sleep because of cancer, she was only 7 years old and a wonderful family dog and guard dog, never had to worry about my children when she was around, she would bite. When Saddie died my children talked me into looking at Siberian Huskies and I fell in love with the runt of the litter. I had no idea what to expect from the beautiful puppy that her family wanted to keep but I talked them into selling her to me. She is the most wonderful, intelligent dog I have ever had, she wouldn't hurt a stranger, Sugar loves people but she was very destructive up until she was about 2 years old. That was my fault because I had no idea how to train this puppy because I was not familiar with the breed. Sugar is the most loving, loyal dog I have ever had. She doesn't care for other animals but she loves people especially kids. When I walk her and kids see her they and their first reaction is "its a snow dog", she will stop and the kids will pet her, when they are finished she always makes sure she give the kids kisses. One day when I was walking her there was this little girl who had to use a walker and she wanted to pet Sugar. Sugar stopped so the little girl could rest herself on Sugar and pet her at the same time. I could tell it gave both much pleasure. It is very difficult for me to believe that Siberian Huskies are as dangerous as this article is saying. I could never imagine Sugar being vicious and I have met other Siberian Huskies and they are friendly as Sugar, I can not imagine this breed being dangerous if they are raised correctly

Pit Bulls are the most dangerous dogs?? You are obviously judging them just like the rest of the world; without any experience to back your comment up. I own a pit bull and she is an extremely good dog. Very obedient and good with people and loves my 4 year old and 8 month old. I get very pissed off when people throw these comments around because the people who are fighting them, along with the bad media (YOU) about them are the ones that cause the negativity towards them. Many states and towns have actually banned them and ordered thoses there to be put down thanks to people like you. I would love for anyone with this comment to live in my house for a week with my Pitty; you would be smothered with nothing but love and kisses from mine. My in-laws have a weiner dog, VERY LITTLE.. and he would bite you before my dog would. I have actually never even heard mine growl. To be honest with you, I used to have cats that stayed in my basement and still to this day, my dog is afraid to go down there because she is terrified of the cats that used to live there. So PLEASE.... get the facts straight and look for more than just the negative coverage. Even though there are bad pit bulls, as any other breed, the majority of them are very good family friends who are just anxious to please.
